ファイレ島に棲みたる老いた人のやることなすこと、腹黒い。
風のない日は、棕櫚の木にしゅらしゅしゅ昇り、しょんぼり古址を眺めている。 

There was an Old Person of Phila,
Whose conduct was scroobious and wily;
He rushed up a Palm,
When the weather was calm,
And observed all the ruins of Phila.
