炙るなら炭で

スミュルナの娘は、祖母に火炙りにしてくれるわと脅された。
娘は猫を奪い取り「ババア！　炙るならこっちだ」と反撃した。
フキョウワオーンと猫が鳴く。

There was a Young Person of Smyrna,
Whose Grandmother threatened to burn her;
But she seized on the cat,
And said, 'Granny, burn that!
You incongruous Old Woman of Smyrna!'
